Innovation has a new name. That name is TrueBeam™ STx.

Radiosurgery can be the treatment of choice for certain cancers. The TrueBeam™ STx system is the latest in advanced radiosurgery technology from Varian Medical Systems. Redefining radiosurgery, TrueBeam STx is a technological leap forward in the family of Varian products. TrueBeam STx can perform a variety of treatment techniques such as stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) with power, accuracy and speed.

Numerous features, to treat with accuracy, speed and manage tumor motions during treatment, give clinicians the tools to design personalized treatments for their patients.

Beyond its impressive technical achievements, TrueBeam STx was designed with many features with patient comfort in mind. With shorter treatment times and quieter operation, TrueBeam STx provides for a comfortable environment. Enhanced communication technology enables a constant interaction between the patient and the therapist who operates the equipment. Three closed-circuit television systems enable the therapist to monitor the patient at all times. Music can be played during treatment, helping to increase patient comfort.

TrueBeam from Varian. Fast. Powerful. Non-invasive.

The TrueBeam STx system for radiation treatments is not appropriate for all cancers. Treatment times may vary. Typical side effects of treatment are area specific and include, but are not limited to skin changes, fatigue, diarrhea, hair loss, nausea and vomiting, urinary and bladder changes, or trouble swallowing. Serious side effects may occur. Ask your doctor if radiation treatment is right for you.
